PEM Self-Clinching Fasteners

PEM self-clinching fasteners provide a permanent, flush-mount fastening solution for thin-panel assemblies starting from just 0.5 mm thickness. Using a cold-forming process, PEM fasteners deliver exceptional pull-out and push-out strength across metals, PCBs, and other substrates — including brittle materials where a specialized serration geometry ensures secure retention without damaging the base material.

PEM's extensive product range covers virtually every fastening requirement across sheet metal and PCB applications. The S / SS / CLS / CLSS series are the industry-standard self-clinching nuts for general panel use, while SN / SNS variants are engineered specifically for stainless steel panels. For standoff applications, the SO / SOS / SOA series offers open-end configurations, BSO / BSOS provides blind-end solutions, SP / SPS delivers a concealed-head profile, and TSO / TSOS is optimized for ultra-thin sheet installations.

On the stud side, FH / FHS / FE flush-head self-clinching studs enable clean surface finishes, while KF2 / KFS2 captive screw assemblies are ideal where fastener retention is critical during servicing.
