Self Drilling Screws

Commonly referred to as TEK Screws, these self-drilling fasteners feature "drill-bit points" that eliminate the need for pre-drilling.

Unless 18-8 stainless steel is specifically required, JIT Fastener suggests opting for 410 stainless steel for corrosion-resistant self-drilling screws. 410 stainless steel screws are heat-treated and hardened, offering superior drilling performance. In contrast, 18-8 stainless steel screws are not heat-treated, which limits their drilling capabilities.
